No, Kane was wearing his normal boots. You'll never see kane in munsters again just because it greatly hinders his wrestling performance thats already lacking cause of age. I dont know the exact height difference in the jibbl/kane staredown but i thought kane made jibbl look rather small.

I have seen Randy Orton and JBL backstage with barely any difference, yet i have seen considerable difference between Kane and Orton backstage..kane might have been tippy toe-ing haha..well waddya do eeh?. will have to watch this upcoming episode..

I would say Kane is about 6'8". those lifts that he wore at the 1999 King of the Ring probably made him 6'10" or so. I see you like FEAR. Awesome Game. Can't wait for Project Origin.

Yeah, Ghost & Alex I agree completely. Umaga is a solid 6'2" guy. Not sure of his weight though, he certainly has slimmed down a lot since he was Jamal. He's probably around 290-300lbs today, still huge just not as fat as he once was.

Umaga is 6'2. He was pretty much the same height barefoot as 6'0,5 John Cena in shoes. He was also a little shorter than 6'2.75 Batista in streetclothes and an inch shorter than 6'3 Rosey.
He is one of the esiest guys to estimate height-wise. His weight I would say is around 310 lbs.

well, in my opinion, that vid goes very well for kane, the supposed 'just over 6'' interviewer is looking up with a straight if not tilted backwards head position looking at the much taller kane, then in contrast, put yourself in kanes shoes, talking to a far smaller man, his posture is laxidasical and anything but straight, if kane were to hold his head like the interviewer and straighten his neck he would give the impression of being much taller than he looks at times in the vid, to me this vid makes kane look 6'8, i really believe so, lets say the guy is scraping 6'1, now if kane were to stand straight, head back, there would be an easy 7 inch difference,
i think we can safely say that glenn jacobs is anything between 6'7 and the upper end of 6'8..... hes never ever under 6'7, i think we can all agree on this, i say 6'8

I wouldn't say Kane was at his biggest now at all. He looked a lot bigger when he first entered the WWF in 1997. He thinned out but then he gained a lot of muscle back on in 2001/early 2002.
He's lost a fair bit of muscle now. I'd guess he's around 300 nowadays, and nowhere near as strong as he once was.

Nash was really enormous when he was playing his 'Oz' character. He was well north of 300 pounds considering his height. His legs were also much more defined unlike later when slimmed noticeably and most of his mass was in his upper body.

Kane as Yankem barely edged out Taker and I'm not certain about his boots either and like others have said, Taker had a wider stance in the staredown. He may have shrunk some, there is no way of knowing for sure. The man is 41 years old, over 300 lbs. with knee problems and takes a physical beating something like 250 days of the year. He like most large wrestlers is a pretty good canidate for premature height loss. He still looks very tall (towering) next to guys like Edge and Orton though, so he can't have lost much.

It would be nice to know what the clearance for the doors are at each venue. I know the standard here in Australia is 6'8 but in arena's they are a bit higher. In this video kane walks through a very high door, but as he walks off the next door appears to be lower, pause it around 28-29 seconds into it and see what you think

About a year or so ago, I had a "Glen Jacobs" on my myspace friends list. I know there are a lot of fake accounts on myspace and I was sceptical about this one, but this one was supposed to be confirmed as "real", as it was his official myspace page, so I added this individual.
He had listed himself as 6' 7" and even had a piece of text where he said he's 6'7" and he wears 3 inch lifts to make him 6' 10" tall. He had a question and answer period, weekly I think, where he would answer people's questions. I asked him why he no longer uses the Tombstone Piledriver as his finisher and he said it is because of his knee problems and he can only really do the chokeslam but 'you never know' he might use it if he feels his opponent deserves it. He also said his favourite move was the Bill Goldberg Jackhammer and that he misses Bill..
The answer sounded believable, although, as most of us know, the authenticity of myspace should be questioned and can not be taken at face value. Although it was his "official" myspace page, it might very well have been a fan site stating Glen's estimated height. Or if it was his site, he might have taken his barefoot height at day's end (assuming it's 6' 7.5") and rounded it down to 6' 7". From all his (real-life) interviews he seems like a really down to earth guy and not one that would try to overestimate his height. I guess someone should have tried to confirm if what was posted on the profile page about the height is actually correct, but from what I remember this page eventually got taken down (possibly proof it was not the real G. J.'s myspace page). That page no longer exists.
However, whether the myspace page was real or not, I am skeptical that 6' 7" or even 6' 7.5" is truly his barefoot height...This goes against the many, many eye witness accounts where he has told fans face to face that he is 6' 8" (or 6' 8.25" or 6' 8.5") tall barefoot. Well, last night on RAW Jamie Nobel was in a backstage promo with some diva and She called him "short" and then Jamie went on to say "5'6 isnt small" Click Here , so this may mean that his legit height is 5'6" and Kane did look to have 15" on him.
Well, last night on RAW Jamie Nobel was in a backstage promo with some diva and She called him "short" and then Jamie went on to say "5'6 isnt small" Click Here , so this may mean that his legit height is 5'6" and Kane did look to have 15" on him.

Big Show could be 4.5 inches or maybe 5 inches taller than Kane. Kane comes only a bit above his eye level. I would say Big Show still is 7'0 though at times he can look less but that puts Kane at 6'7 and change. This listing for Kane may be right on the money.
Test I would say is a legit 6'5 but he didn't look that tall with Brock Lesnar though but who knows if someone had bigger footwear in that match. Kane was at least 2 inches taller than Test too.

We can't see footwear in that pic with Big Ben though. I'd say Kane is legit 6'8" since he claims it in person, when he could claim much taller since he's billed at 6'10"-7'0", and he was listed as that in college.

If you add 2.75" plus 6'4.75" you get 6-7.5. However, if Kane was in boots he would have most likely had 1/2" advantage on Ben, which would knock him down once again to 6-7. I agree with Viper, I'd say 6'7 1/2 may be on the money for Kane. He was listed at 6'7 back then so I doubt he'd be under listed if he was really 6'8. Christian is the only wrestler who I ever saw under billed.

Big show obviously wasn't as heavy back then as he was in '05/'06 when he was legitimately well over 500 lbs, but he was definitely over 400. The one where Kane picks him up on his shoulder and actually holds him there is insane. There's another good clip from the 2002 Royal Rumble as well, where Kane picks Show up and then actually carries him in his arms and then dumps him out of the ring.

tuga if you watch the video carfully with yankem and taker when they start to have a stare down the camera is far away. you can clearly see the top of his head being higher than takers by an inch.
