Great find. So Shaq is about 7'2" in what we can assume are sneakers. That would put him at about 7'1" barefoot or maybe a tad under. Shaq needs an upgrade to 7'1" in my opinion and Show should stay right were he is at 6'10.5".

I would say that Piers height is probably between 5-11" to 5-11.5". Piers seems like he could stand up a little straighter. So, Big Show probably has actually has around 11" on Piers. So, to me the Big Show is looking around 6' 10.5" in that photo.

Most recent interview where Kane keeps saying he was 6'8 in high school. He may have grown even taller out of high school which is very common or stayed that height. Either way he hasn't shrunk that much and it's clear he's at least 6'7 now bc with comfortable poster he's taller than pen Jillette who said Kane was taller. Pen says he's 6'7 himself.

If you look at Big Cass basketball web at NYU he is listed at 6-8 most likely measured with shoes on. Ron Reis was listed at 7-1 at Santa Clara Univ same as high school since his sophomore I doubt he grew more after college and he said he was taller then the big show whom I guess he was around 6-11 because he stated he was known to were lifts. Kevin Nash stated I think on Leno he was 6-9

Big Show in 2006 was huge - he was nothing less than 530 lbs, probably more like 550+ You only have to look at the Lashley match to see how much larger he was, his legs and arms were huge and he had a big belly on him. Although he was out of shape he really looked like a giant and dwarfed Lashley

At the risk of sounding dumb, maybe Shaq grew. I just can't see the Rock as less than around 6'3" because he is still taller than Roman Reins. Yet, can anyone dispute the fact that Shaq looks around 1' taller than him?

I would classify him as a very weak 7footer, but rather a solid/strong 6´11" guy wich fits better if you see him next to solid 7 Footers.

I'm not Rob, but I try to give you a reasonable answer. Big Show never really did look 7'1" to begin with. Even on his debut, he was shorter than the 7'1" listed Ron Reis (the Yeti). He may have been about 6'11.5" barefoot, but wore big heeled boots that were comparable to cowboy boots in terms of the boost they gave him. This, along with his lean physique and big hair, created the illusion he was taller than he was. Today, after decades of carrying around so much weight, he has lost about 1" of height. The evidence for this is his numerous recent encounters with ~7'0.5" Shaq where he looked 2"-3" shorter on a consistent basis. He may have been close to 7' in his prime but is now in the 6'10" range. His 7'1" listing in college was probably just his height in big basketball sneakers and possibly a roundup from that.

Editor Rob looking and measuring for some guys can be a difference that you don't see in videos. Show might look 6ft 10 at times, but getting measured, maybe he can squeeze upwards more than we think.

I'm not saying Show is in the 6'10" range for sure, but I will say there is at least 2" between him and Shaq. Anybody who thinks Shaq is 7'0" and Show is 6'11" is blind. Perhaps it's 7'1" and 6'11" respectively. But, you can't have it both ways.

There are several recent pictures of Big Show standing next to tall athletes. Big Show next to 6’11” listed basketball player Kevin Laue, or 6’10” listed basketball player Mychal Thompson. Or how about that pic of Big Show standing next to that 6’11” fan Connor Cronk. Big Show consistently looked 6’11” next to these guys, unless all of them are shorter than what they’re listed at or claim to be.
How much taller do you think Andre was than Big Show, considering you’re claiming a cowboy booted Andre was taller than Wilt, Wilt was taller than Shaq and Shaq was over an inch taller than a cowboy booted Big Show?
You recently claimed you thought both of them were ~6’11” prime, but comments like these leads me to believe you think Andre was around 2 inches taller.
And when did the WWE ever claim Big Show was nearly 7ft tall. Never once did I hear them claim this. I challenge you to post proof of this claim.

Here the difference is less than 2 inches. Both men have good posture and Big Show’s footwear advantage is nowhere near as large as you make it out to be. Big Show still looks 6’11” there.
And that’s a full body shot, where we can see their posture and where the camera angle isn’t favouring either man. You can’t say the same thing for those red carpet videos.
There are several recent pictures of Big Show standing next to tall athletes. Big Show next to 6’11” listed basketball player Kevin Laue, or 6’10” listed basketball player Mychal Thompson. Or how about that pic of Big Show standing next to that 6’11” fan Connor Cronk. Big Show consistently looked 6’11” next to these guys, unless all of them are shorter than what they’re listed at or claim to be.
How much taller do you think Andre was than Big Show, considering you’re claiming a cowboy booted Andre was taller than Wilt, Wilt was taller than Shaq and Shaq was over an inch taller than a cowboy booted Big Show?
You recently claimed you thought both of them were ~6’11” prime, but comments like these leads me to believe you think Andre was around 2 inches taller.
And when did the WWE ever claim Big Show was nearly 7ft tall. Never once did I hear them claim this. I challenge you to post proof of this claim.

His college basketball profile listed him as 7'1", and it's possible that he lost 1 to 2 inches in height even before age 40, because of the stress that gravity exerts on a person who weighs over 400 pounds.

Personally, I think Andre looked about 6'11"/6'11.5" and about 380-400lbs next to Wepner. As far as Chuck being over 6'5", that is unfounded. He has claimed 6'5" for himself and has always been listed as 6'5".

Big Show has his massive weight, consistent bad posture, and the angle working horrible for him in the Shaq video on the red carpet.
I honestly feel like Shaq was over 7'1'' that night. I assume his dress shoes have to be customized for his massive feat. Here is a picture of him with his 6'9'' son, who's hair was tied up that night as well, adding to his height. Shaq's posture is great and his heels look kinda big.

I've seen Big Show at the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. I believe he is 7' tall. I also met Dutch Savage several times, and having seen him in pictures with Andre The Giant, I know Andre was at least 7' 4" before his acromegaly(or however it's spelled) changed him.

When Big Show came to WWE in 1999, he was huge. There is a video out there somewhere with Big Show and the The Rock from 1999, and Vince McMahon is also in the segment. Rock back in 1999 was at least 6'3". Big Show had to be at least 7'0.5" and he had perfect posture. They both were out of gear and big show towered over the rock. Big Show has lost height over the years because of age, injuries and all the weight he has carried. I would have loved to see Shaq vs Big Show circa 1999, as opposed to 2016, back then they would have been near equal height.

Adam has been measured barefoot @ 6'7.5" & 6'7.75" "barefoot"!... on multiple occasion & documented. And he's a legit 370 lbs!! He fluctuates anywhere from 345-385 over the past few years. But, you've got to take a good look at those wrestling boots too! Kane & Big Show's boot heels are 0.5" to 0.75" thicker than Adam's (Braun).

Editor Rob we shouldn't rule out the possibility someone could be above or even below a figure. Sometimes there is a consensus on pages which seems to be a figure is ok, while on others maybe the overall opinion might be the person is slightly below/above what the listing is.

It's certainly difficult to see being the big show being anywhere under 530 in that period as he was floating around 500 but then piled on weight and was absolutely huge towards the end of 2006

I believe his heaviest was when he started to lose hair. Probably 550lb.
