This young lad is weeping because his Granddad has died, (Classic Coronation Street), but that was after a show of bravery when Sally was being attacked by Greg Kelly, Les Battersby's nasty son, who HAS to be over 6ft, as he's taller than his Dad, played by Bruce Jones, who looks around 5ft11 or just over.
This young fellow took him on, so well done to him!

Yes, I can confirm that it was indeed Adam's first appearance as Nick Tilsley. In today's episode, he meets Leanne Battersby, and starts what is to become a life-long romance.
The Battersby family has an atrocious reputation and Nick's Mum is very much against the two getting together. Fortunately, the girls both turn out well! 😄👍
Adam might be an inch shorter than the actor who takes over from him (Ben Price) when he leaves years later, but that barely caught the eye, unlike the enormous difference between the guys who played Peter Beale in EastEnders. Even those who weren't height orientated noticed THAT difference; you couldn't help but gasp at the huge six-and-a-half inches between the chaps, which even made the papers!

Editor RobHe could be shorter though I don't think he's had height loss too much, maybe some in upper spine, but he looks to have kept rather fit. He called his wife 5ft 1 and doesn't really look 10 inches taller than her though.

I always thought he was a bit of a fitness freak, but perhaps that's the reason, he tries his very best to fight the condition.

Editor Rob he says he has had it since 18, so he must be doing better than some through exercise to reduce effects a bit.
