He looks about 5'9-5'9.5 to me or 175-176 cm, less than 5'9.5-5'10 or more than 5'8-5'8.5.

Rob , what would you guess his weight in the Batman films?
[Editor Rob: I don't know what his physique was like then, but from a quick look mid 160's is a possibility]

I would have guessed 5'8.5 but 5'9 isn't impossible.

Just walked past him. I have about and inch on him and I'm 5'9"1/2. Probably closer to 5'8" than 5'9"

With LL Cool J:

It's from their show in which I think J's character wears a slightly thicker boot, just to add some context.

Meet him once. Solid 5'9". I'm about 5'9", we were both not wearing shoes and I was about the same height as him.

More 3 inches actually next to Pacino. 5'9" seems about right.
Arch Stanton said on 21/Oct/13
Looks a good 4 inches taller than Pacino in Scent of a Woman, looks 5'10" osh actually in comparison but he was shorter than Clooney wasn't he.

Doubt it, by his build he looks 5'8"-5'9" and next to Clooney he looked much smaller

He has the build of a 6'2" man, yet I believe he's half a foot shorter. Deceptively short. When I first saw him on TV I thought he was 6'; I even called him "beefy" (in the context of the conversation). What the camera can do, I guess... Shorter than 5'9" Stephen Moyer, who is next to lift-wearing 5'8" Ed Westwick, in this picture:

Man, these movie stars are way shorter than what they appear to be, he's probably a 5'9.5, and uses 2" shoes for his scenes with LL Cool J

He was an inch taller than Philip Seymour Hoffman in "Scent of a Woman" and he's also listed at 5'9". O'Donnell also towered over Al Pachino in the movie, at least 4-5 inches taller. I think Hoffman is 5'8", and Al Pachino is 5'5", which leaves O'Donnell at like 5'9"-5'9.5".

leonardi and dont you think that o'donnell used to wear lifts too.? you can never tell about it in hollywood.. so I'm sticking to 5'8.. not that talll but very good actor..altough he looks exactly the same height of patrcik dempsey in grey's...
leonari said on 5/Apr/07
radio man: you have no clue about...well. Pacino used huge lifts in scent of a woman!! HUGE!!! Thats why O'donell looked only 2 inches taller when in fact he is more like 4 inches taller than PAcino
radio_man said on 5/Apr/07
i think he's 5'8, he was like 2 inches taller than pacino in scent of a woman who's 5'6

Had biggish spurt aged 16, mentioned in 2000 rollingstone "O'Donnell, who is 5-foot-10 now, was only 5-foot-1 and 95 pounds until the age of 16"

Bizzare.he seemed a hair over 5-9 to me when I met him.and I read 5-10 for him as well.
GPM said on 17/Oct/06
He's in a movie with Artie lang, who is about 5'9", and O'Donnell looks about 2" shorter.
MOF said on 1/Jul/06
There is a scene in the Three Musketeers where O'Donnell is to be beheaded and before a woman brings a heightmeter to check his height for the coffin. He was in boots, not sure how big but at least two inch boots and he was under 180cm, looked just about 178cm. He might be 173-174cm...

I'm right near 5'10" in regular shoes, and Chris O'Donnell was visibly shorter when I met him on the set of "Cookie's Fortune, 8 years ago. He was a very friendly, pleasant guy with no movie star attitude, but he's closer to 5'7" than 5'11".
Glenn said on 1/Apr/06
Chris is 5-9.photo coming
Dominic said on 31/Mar/06
Not sure but lifts maybe? And he is a little bit farther away from Pacino and Pacino is standing in front of him so that might also make him taller.
Francois Levrouse said on 12/Mar/06
In "Scent of a Woman" cover of the DVD and Video, Al Pacino seems taller or of the same height. Can someone explain this?
MD said on 21/Dec/05
Yes, because there is no way he is 5'7". Just because a height has been recently changed on the site for a taller number doesn't necessarily make the new number anymore wrong or right than the old.
Drooperdoo said on 21/Dec/05
He was originally listed on Internet Movie Database as 5'7''. The height was only recently altered to 5'9''.
MD said on 20/Dec/05
This looks about right. Actually, I'd actually say he's 5'10". From every pic I've seen he always looks 5'10"
Picture said on 20/Dec/05
Just give him 5 ft 10, that what he looks.

[Editor Rob: I will leave this guy 5ft 9.5 for now...]
