good update. i remmeber when i was a kid looking at sunset beach i thought he was a 185-187 guy. he looked tall. I actually looked at a couple of scenes not that long ago for fun and he have the proportions to make you think 6 foot 1 guy. But if he claims this exact height, then he is.

Rob, another guy for the 6' 0 1/8" pile? It is what he says after all.
Editor Rob
Yes, that's another actor who I think deserves to be listed as his claim.

Rob, I find it astonishing how you are observant to footwear, posture, eyelevel etc in the heat of the moment? The one that really stood out to me was when you thought an actor was walking around like he had followed the Alexander Technique just by looking at him like you mentioned above. I can't remember the actor he was quite tall and you had a photo with him.
Editor Rob
Blake, the only reason I pay for photos is to add content to the site, so I will try to pay attention to the situation and get an idea of how tall somebody might look, especially beside other people, which helps immensely.

This Guy was my height 181.3cm now 183cm do you BĂ©lieve him rob
Editor Rob
maybe he had developed a posture which meant he measured that height and just with months of learning to train the posture and holding himself better he really gained 'hidden' height.
Either that or he got measured later and earlier or the measuring device in one case was off.

when I watched sunset beach 10 years ago, he always look at least 6'2 to me.
I think he said to be near 190 cms.

It's not like he literally grew, but a change in posture can change height. If you permanantly slouch and have poor posture you will look/measure as being shorter than you really are.

The Alexander technique is used when teaching drama, & is a stretching & relaxation exercise to help actors breathe properly. After Clive took part in the exercises at drama school, he found his height had increased, it was a side effect of the exercises, & not done intentionally to become taller.

A guy of 49 years of age claimed he grew 2 inches using The Alexander Technique.
Coffin_Fodder said on 27/May/07
People stop growing after they're 23. There's no way he grew three quarters of an inch by stretching.
Geoff said on 20/Dec/06
The problem that I see with stretching is that any gain you make will never be permanent. You will have to keep stretching forever if you don't want to lose that extra inch.

"I was 6'1'' tall at 22 years old and now I am 6'2'' tall. I stretch every morning, afternoon and night. It is easy and indeed it works. If you have a problem with your height, try that" - Korean Actor/Model? Joo Hi Hoon.
