Hey Rob! How tall do you think Devin was in Home Alone? I think he was like 5’3 in his first Hone Alone film. He looked a bit shorter than Kate who is 163cm and like few inches shorter than Peter who is 173.5cm? In Home alone 2, maybe like 168? He looked taller than Kate that time but still shorter than Peter.

I would say Devin was around 5'4 in the first home alone film. He was a few inches shorter than 5'8 1/2 John Heard and not much dissimilar to 5'4 3/4 catherine o'hara. For the people who are confused as to why he didn't grow well over 6'0 despite being a big kid already, it happens sometimes. Sometimes you get kids who grow bigger than their peers but then don't really gain much height afterwards. There was a 11 year old boy a bit older than me in primary school who was already 5'5 (taller than most the teachers) and one would assume he'd have been massive as a teenager/adult, but didn't grow any taller than 5'11.

Ok so now this is my height growth in my childhood. Well it looks very uncommon and rare but yeah this is my height growth. Ok back to the topic, do you think Buzz is that tall in Home Alone? Look at my 13 years old to 20 years old. Look HUGE GAP right? Devin is now 6’1 and in Home alone he is 179.9? So from 13 to 20 he only grew 7cm. It’s very strange right? So I’ll put him around 5’0~5’3.

Ok. So to say honestly 13 years old Buzz: 161cm in Home alone 1, 15 years old Buzz: 168cm in Home alone 2. If he was 179cm, he is taller than Peter Mccalister and Kate could be around his bottom of the neck so this 179cm is not true at all. If he is 179cm he will look more taller than that.

Ok. This 5’10.5 inches is definitely not true. Devin has 6’1 now and how could he have 5’10.5 in Home alone 1 when he was only 13 years old( 8th grade ). How could he have 5’10.5 only 13. Nobody has 5’10.5 at age 13. Scientists said the average height of a 13 years old is 4’0 to 4’7. And 14 is 4’7 to 5’0 feet. I know he looks tall but I would say about 150cm to 155cm or so because Kevin was maybe around 120cm that time but his height was was close to Buzz shoulder that time making him 25 to 30 cm taller than Kevin so I would say around 5’0 to 5’1.

No way he is 179 cm. I have seen his full photo as an adult. Short legs. Around 170 cm (5'7) tops.

Yup. I’ll agree to Karate and Final Fantasy guy. My height is 6’1 as same as Devin. I used to have 155(Beginning)to 160cm(End)at age 13 and 168cm (Begging) to 170cm(End). I didn’t grew so much at age 15 because I didn’t eat, drink milk, or sleep so much with things going around the Volunteer club at school that makes me so busy. Back to the topic I was not 5’10 or taller at age 13 and 15. I got to 5’10 at 19 and grew 6’1 at age 20. Remember he was 13 and 10 months in Home alone 1 and 15 and 10 months in Home alone 2. Of course he is not 5’10 in Home alone 1 and 2 because boys grow until 18 to 20. I think it is very strange that he didn’t grow so much from age 13. Devin is 6 feet and one inch nowadays and why could he have 5’10 in the Home alone series. Max guess he might have around 173cm in Home alone 2 but some people say he is around 183cm in the movie but I think it’s wrong. We can’t say the wrong or lying information because he just looked tall and say he is around 183cm or so. We never met Devin Ratray at this time so how do we know if he is 5’10 to 6 feet. The true information might be around 160cm in Home alone 1 and around 170cm in Home alone 2.

I think he is between 160cm to 163cm in the movie. Same as the Karate boy I really checked out when Kate 163cm passed him in the pizza scene and also at the last part of home alone 2 he was shorter than Peter that is 176cm when he was throwing the Christmas present to Kevin. I think he grew taller at his high school age. One thing he was 13 in Home alone 1 and 15 in Home alone 2. If there are 100 kids all boys and all 13, the average height of a 13 years old is 4’7 to 5’0 and only 2 or 3 kids might be 5’10. I am 5’10.5(179cm) and a high school student and the kids around me are way more shorter than me. If Devin was 5’10 in the movie and he is 6’1 nowadays and than means that he really didn’t grow the rest of his teenage that is unbelievable and very uncommonly strange. Boys will grow until age 20 or some might grow until 25. So my opinion is around 5’3 to 5’4 in Home alone 1 and in Home alone 2 around 5’6.5 to 5’7.

I think he might be 163 cm because he was 13 by this time and plus he was the same size as his mother Kate McCalister in the movie and shorter than his father Peter McCalister. I actually know this when his mother Kate mcCalister passed him when he was eating pizza. But normal 13 years old boys average heights are 4’4 to 4’11 and he is around 5’4 so he is above average for his height.

Wow. If I was to bet on a height being inflated Ratray would be way at the bottom. I would say 188cm was a bit much but really, under 183cm.
Like Rob has said before most of the celeb’s heights are really 50/50 with their height being really as listed.

I haven't exactly heard of Dev, but it's a certainty that 'Home Alone' will be showing over Christmas. It ALWAYS does, and I can measure him up should I decide to see it.

Until then, Devin can have 5ft10.5.
