5ft10 is silly. Always had a good 3 inches on guys like Waterman and Cole in Minder. I think 6ft0.25 is the most I'd argue though and not under 6ft.

Even with his small head ( exaggerating his proportions )and always tall heels , he never looked more than 5ft 10 , although I have enjoyed his performances over a long period .

Good actor. I think in the 80s and 90s he looked a decent six footer. 6ft to 6ft0.25 I would have guessed was his range. He edged out Peter Capaldi in The Secret Agent. I'm not sure I'd go as high as 6ft0.5 for him but considering even with very short haircuts he still easily looked 6ft a strong six footer is reasonable.

You should probably add his recent role in Luther to his credits, Rob. I only know him for it, so I don't know about a possible peak, but he certainly didn't look over 5'11 on the show, from what I remember...

FANTASTIC new Celeb Rob - and now we know how tall he is! He's starred in just so much over the years, including the 'Inspector Morse' episode 'Driven to Distraction'.

Editor RobI'm sure he's been asked a few times over the years, he never had a height in any of the casting directories from what I have seen, but generally I could see him anywhere in 6ft to 6ft 1/2 in his earlier days.
