A lot of guys in our business have tremendous physiques and they dress differently. I'm not knocking that. But I'm 6-foot-1 and weigh 240 pounds. My persona is not that of a muscleman. I sell myself as a wrestler and a businessman.

Flair is lying about his height & weight which is common in wrestling. No chance he weighed 240 in his prime. More like 190-200 @ 5’11 in his prime.

Ric needs a MAJOR height upgrade for his peak height. The plane crash that caused back compression injuries happened in October 4th, 1975. Only photos and video before October 4th, 1975 can be used to judge Flair's peak height. Ric broke his back in 3 places. T10, T11, and T12

Said on the Rogan podcast before the plane crash he was 6’2.
I met him a few times over the years and can’t see that. At the best he looked 6’0 in the 80’s, was probably just under. 5’9 when o met him in 09. Looked basically the same height the other times I met him as well.

Not sure if you agree with this rob but I’m thinking his younger son Reid could have been around the 6’2 area it was hard to tell though cause in the picture he was leaning his head but I think he could’ve definitely been over 6’0

Wrestlers can get really deceptive heights in boots etc and a lot of guys they're next to on TV are 6'3 to 6'6, Flair was 5-11 most of his life. Some people lose a lot of height with age and injuries and Flair is one of them.

Don't most Pro Wrestlers exaggerate their Height & Weight to appear larger than life for The Young Fans of The Sports Entertainment Show? I saw Ric Flair in person back in 1979. He appeared to be about 5'10 or maybe 5'11. Although Lean & Muscular, He certainly did not look like he weighed over 200lbs.IMO, he looked more like in the 185-90 range.

I saw Ric years back at a high school wrestling match when his late son Reid wrestled for Blair Academy.I am 5'10.5" Ric was a an 1.5" taller with his boots on.....I believe he was 5'10" at that time.

I do not look overly large at all. I just look like a muscular & “ kind of big guy” at basically 5’11” & 225 lbs. Same goes for peak 5’11” & 230 lbs Ric Flair. We are what you call “Street Big”....we look big next to the average person on the street. However, we are not that big in the world of big time athletics or a profession like pro wrestling. Around average people, peak Ric Flair was a pretty big man.

They give her more than just 3", as they have a thick platform at the front. 3.5" is more likely. She's likely around 5'11.5" with those heels, as she looks 1.5" taller than a shoed 5'10" Ric, so 5'8" barefoot.

Charlotte would only get 3 inches from these heels. I still think 5ft 9 barefoot is right and 5ft 10 in shoes shes still quite a bit taller than him and in a video of him with Charlotte and alexa bliss she looks about a foot taller than bliss and 3 or so inches taller than ric shes deffo 5ft 9

Me exact heights are 5’11.125” to 5’11.25” in the morning. 5’11.25” fresh out of bed @ 6 AM, and I quickly got 5’11.125” by 9 AM. And by 2 PM I’m typically under 5’11” @ 5’10.875”....and by 6 PM I’m always 5’10.75”, and you can see the difference of me & that fella with 5’8.5”-ish Flair. I had on 1.4” footwear that night. In the footwear I had on, I measure 6’0.25” in the evening.

Wouldn’t be shocked if he even only measured 5’8.5” late afternoon barefoot. I have several pics. I don’t know how to post photos on this site? Rob? I also met him in 1997 & in ‘97 he looked a strong 5’11”. Also met him in 2007, he looked 5’10.5” in 2007. In 2019 he’s only a MAX 5’8.75” afternoon barefoot IMO. Maybe in his prime he was that tall or even 6 feet but now I would say no more than 5’9” and change. Plus , he was wearing a pair of (very nice) dress shoes with a bit of a heel. I was in my old beat up running shoes so I was probably a tad under 6 feet as we stood.

In the mid 90's I was in the Atlanta airport with Rick Flair. He is short. I was actually shocked at how short he was only because his stats always listed him as taller. I would say he's only 5'6 or 5'7 at best. I suspect he wears lifts.

I had a pic with him and I on here, I'm just over 6ft and I had at least 3 inches on him in 2010. He was roughly the same height as Arn Anderson who doesn't seem to have lost much height and now there's a solid 3 inch difference.

Ive just took my shoes off now, its 6pm and ive been up since 8am this morning and im bang on 6ft... Last time i measured i was 6,0.25 and that was a few weeks ago.

Their height bills aren't lies if you accept the concept of measuring athletes in the footwear they compete in. All of those men basically fill out their bill when they put boots on, except Batista who has boosted to 6'6" during his feud with Undertaker, who is about 2" overbilled imo, also a result of Hulk Hogan's 2" overbill from his peak of 6'6". This also coincides with guys like Sid and Nash, etc.

Their height bills aren't lies if you accept the concept of measuring athletes in the footwear they compete in. All of those men basically fill out their bill when they put boots on, except Batista who has boosted to 6'6" during his feud with Undertaker, who is about 2" overbilled imo, also a result of Hulk Hogan's 2" overbill from his peak of 6'6". This also coincides with guys like Sid and Nash, etc.

I went back stage at the O2 wrestlemania revenge tour. It was surreal. Gail kim, Teddy Long and MVP came off as quite shy and generally quiet too. MVP billed as 6'3" is a bit of an exag. He's 5'11" like me. Maybe they all have height complexes like all of us after all they're only human. I know they're deliberatley billed to be larger than life but still, 4 inches is just an insulting exaggeration.

Danimal your totally correct, i measured myself this morning and i was just under 6'1.
I met flair a couple of months ago and he was 5'10 tops, he could have even been shorter, it wasnt until i got my photo with him developed that i saw the difference, ill see if i can get it up on here.

That’s me in the photo. In that photo I was 5’11.5” and 230 pounds. Our shoes both looked about the same height. We were both standing straight and tall. I think I may have had half an inch on him at best, but then again you be the judge. Flair per my earlier comment stepped forward for the photo. A great trick I need to remember =).
The same day I stood side by side with Cena but he sat for the photo. My recollection is that Cena was as tall if not half an inch taller than I. I would guess that he weighs between 225 and 230. He was wearing the B-Ball shoes but the heel seemed comparable to what I was wearing, although it might explain the half inch. I only noticed because I really expected these guys to be huge.

I think I may have had half an inch on him at best, but then again you be the judge. Flair per my earlier comment stepped forward for the photo. A great trick I need to remember =).
The same day I stood side by side with Cena but he sat for the photo. My recollection is that Cena was as tall if not half an inch taller than I. I would guess that he weighs between 225 and 230. He was wearing the B-Ball shoes but the heel seemed comparable to what I was wearing, although it might explain the half inch. I only noticed because I really expected these guys to be huge.

Spoke with him before the Rolling Stones Concert in Charlotte in 97. I am 5'11 and he was at least my height. Stood a foot from him while speaking with him for a few minutes. I thought he would be shorter from what I heard. Pretty thick dude with a large head.

Hogan was never 6'9". Hogan WAS 6'5"-6'6". Flair today is MAX 5'10" and probably a bit of change in reality. In his prime probably just shy of 6'0".

I'm sure that he is NO longer taller than 5'11". YES. He may have been taller in his younger days. The same goes for Roddy Piper, who also has clearly lost height.

My friend and I walked past him once and we figured (without shoes) Flair's got to be was 5'7", 5'8" max. He was only about an inch taller than my friend.

I wish I had the match on my HD, but I don't. It's on a VHS tape. Trust me though. Hogan was VERY skinny and still appeared VERY tall. HE probably had only shrunk only just over an inch by that point.
