Vincent Kennedy McMahon was never over 6'1¾, the reason he held up well with 6'2¼ Lesnar back at the early 2000s most probably was because he wore the formal 2" Heeled shoes like he does most of the time. While Lesnar on the other hand was at his wrestling boots which was no more than 1", Lesnar's hair also was really short at that time, thus having a disadvantage.

Vince used to be at least 6'1". He used to edge out Stone Cold Steve Austin (who I think was never over a flat 6'0" barefoot, but wore big boots to look taller) in the late 90's:

Shane looked taller than a prime Vince which would put Shane at 6'2 range, but then Shane can barely look 6'1 at times these days which makes me wonder if he's lost a chunk of height himself which I can't see to be fair. Either that or Vince was shorter than we think in his prime.

5'11.5" is possible for Theory, but that's the absolute max. He's edges out Vince by a noticeable amount, so that means Vince may need a downgrade to something like 5'10.5" or 5'10.75"

I’m currently reading a book on Pro Wrestling’s history which says Vince (before he started the obvious steroid abuse) was 6’2 and 230 pounds. It also says Hogan was 6’5 prime, which I can believe.

Just like Christian said, he could agree with half of my listed heights and realistically you could round that 50% up to 100%. I said give or take an inch on a few of them. Piper shrunk a lot in his later years. Go look at hulk hogan's birthday segment with the nwo on raw from a few years back and 6'2" Lesnar towers over Piper. Randy Orton was never quite a full 6'4" that's why I listed his peak at 6'3.5". My Rick Rude listing was very similar to your guess, so not sure what you're complaining about. My listings are accurate.

How difficult is to judge height of wrestler? I mean at times they look taller than really are, while other times a lot shorter.. is it possible that sometimes the camera add or take off a several inches ?

Editor RobSome wrestlers will lose height, turn out taller or shorter than they look...how many have worn lifts in the ring is another matter, that is something I found hard to tell, which had obvious lifts inside boots.

Second, I just completed watching many videos from the WWE's Attitude Era (their boom period from 1996-2001), especially the confrontations between Stone Cold Steve Austin (Steve Williams) and Vince Mcmahon. If I keep Austin conservatively as 6 foot 1, then Vince was easily taller than him (The hair advantage aside). In every confrontation, I saw Vince Mcmahon taller than him by an inch. It wouldn't be surprising if it were mostly after his 2013 hip replacement when he was already 67 or if it was shortly after his 1994 neck surgery for a herniated disc, but he still looked around 6'1" for years after. It looks like it was overall wear and tear after the torn quads in 2005 that really did it since he was clearly shorter than Donald Trump in 2007 and 2009 and Trump himself is only a year younger and probably around 6'1" himself by that time.

I started watching around the 2003ish time, so I missed the Attitude Era as I was young and hadn't discovered wrestling. The hardest worker and a simply put a "genius" in the wrestling business. As for his height, 6'1.5 prime without a doubt, when he was a just an interviewer in the late 1970's, many wrestlers had to stand on boxes to look taller and more intimidating next to him, as of now, he has dropped to around the strong 5'11 range. He won't step out of the business until his last breath... as he says himself "I am not to good lying still in the sun".

To be fair Height183, Cenas shoes have more padding than McMahons which are completely flat.
Even so, that's a near 2" height difference and those shoes maybe give 1"-1.5" to Cenas height, who everyone has estimated to be around 6'0"-6'0.5".
McMahon could very well be 5'11" flat now a days.
To be fair Height183, Cenas shoes have more padding than McMahons which are completely flat.
Even so, that's a near 2" height difference and those shoes maybe give 1"-1.5" to Cenas height, who everyone has estimated to be around 6'0"-6'0.5".

Yeah Height183, the more I see of Vince the more he's looking just 5ft11 today, though I believed he consistantly looked 186cm through the 80s, 90s and possibly even some of the early/mid 2000s, just these last several years that probably from over-doing the weight-lifting has definatley taken its toll and produced more height loss. Arnie is another good example.

Looked a lot shorter than Triple H at Money in the Bank's tribute to the late Dusty Rhodes. I agree with Chucksta7 and James B that he's around 5'11.75" today. As for his peak height I would have guessed 186-187cm so I think it's good as it is.

After watching Raw the past monday I have to say Vince looks like he's aged terribly since he was on air last and hos height seemed to have decreased too in the last few years, he was almost towered by 6'1.5 Triple H, I can't see him above 5'10 today, he use to look a big man but not anymore.
