American Actor, best remembered for films like Predator, Lock Up and 48hrs. In a NotLP.com interview Sonny mentioned his height, saying "I'm Six-Four". In 1986/7 - around the time of Predator - his weight was described as 195-6 pounds in the press.

But its strange i remmeber when i was 15 years old and was measured 193,3 cm in school and had pretty good abs at the time ( maybe not a perfect 6 pack but a 4 pack or 5) SO my guess that my bodyfat was maybe 12 procent back then similar to him. @OriginalAnon if you have good proportions you can be guessed that high. I’m a strong 6’2 guy with wide shoulders and a 9.5 inch head and I’ve been guessed 6’4 a few times. The tallest I’ve ever measured is 6’2.75 in the morning

Sonny definitely looked 6'3" in 48hrs. I think he lost a significant amount of height in his later years. I was very sad when I read about his passing.

People do lose height. Like I've been the same height with my friend for ages, it's only recently, when I've turned 30 that I've edged him, clearly. Hard to imagine a 30 year old gaining height. So I do believe Sonny lost height. He looked every inch like a guy who's 6'4 in the 80's

His youth was spent in a biz where people get worn out fast, and was pushing 40 years old by the time he got mainstream work, but in his 30's during the earlier career he looked around 6'3'' beside 5'10'' Marlene Willoughby.

In 48hrs a highway patrolman at the start says 'tall 6-4 200lbs' i do believe he was 6-4 in his day it is definitely possible to lose several inches in height if you have certain habits throughout your life ie excessive alcohol consumption, poor posture, excessive weight training using bad technique

saw this guy way back in the day in KC (he used to own a comedy club there). he was at least an inch taller than my buddy who's 6'2". i wouldn't doubt 6'3.5" or 6'4" peak.

Its weird in Predator,best of the best 2 and 48 hours he did indeed look all of 6'4" he had a little muscle though, i think everyone thought he was huge but he was barely over 200lbs. Hes like Nick Nolte who has a big head and broad shoulders giving the impression hes big but is in actual fact quite skinny with little muscle mass.

He didn't look much taller than Schwarzenegger in Predator. Prolly a weak 6' 2'', maybe a little over. He def looks like he lost height, I don't even think he looks 6' 1'' here, 6' tops today. Thats what bodybuilding will do to ya I guess.

He looks relaxed with his posture but maybe not very relaxed.
My dad in his early 60's is overweight and is a weak 5'10'' but fully stretched, chest out, feet together in stocking feet can shortly gain 2 inches of height no bs. Muscular and Obese who have bigger/wider chests and trapizius muscles are able to do this for some reason.

I was sad enough to watch an episode of the fall guy, and Sonny was in it. The difference in height between himself and Majors was the same you can see between him and Rob. I think Majors was wearing cowboy boots too, so unless Majors was 5'9", I think Sonny was atleast 6'3" at his peak height.

What was he like Rob? I listened to some of that interview and he seemed an ok guy, i've heard stories of how he was highly strung in Predator, and security was hired for the safety of the other actors......

Editor Rob he looked in the 6ft -6ft 1 range whenever I saw him. Put it this way, he isn't losing 2 inches in posture, and actually has slight camera advantage, but that's barely much to bother about. Unless you have a short photographer, then it can hide or emphasise differences much more.
I was the first in line for this photo so I saw him with the photographer and knowing his height I estimated he wasn't over 6ft 1. And he stood beside a 6ft 3 fellow autograph collector behind his desk for a photo and again standing reasonably well didn't look over 6ft 1.

to be honest, he looked atleast 6'3" in Predator in what was a ensemble of actors who were all tall guys......he also did a movie with Stallone, and he towered over him by about 6 inches.....this guy must have lost a lot of height.
